Mission statement
Culture Junction CIC is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company rooted in the South Asian communities of Greater Manchester. We are a creative hub for music, arts, heritage, education and wellbeing — bringing people together, celebrating culture, and building a stronger, more connected community.
We work particularly with Bengali and wider South Asian communities, addressing inequality and social isolation through programmes that are inclusive, culturally grounded, and community-led.
For over 25 years, Anamika Cultural Group has been at the heart of our journey — a home for creativity, identity, and cultural pride. Through Anamika, we have seen how the arts inspire joy, build confidence, and bring communities together.
In 2025, we established Culture Junction CIC as the natural next step in this journey — a home not only for Anamika, but also for new and growing work in education, wellbeing, and cultural heritage, rooted in the same values of creativity, inclusion, and community connection.
